Robert Hare, B.Sc.

Senior Environmental Consultant

Robert Hare, B.Sc., is a Senior Environmental Consultant with approximately 30 years of experience in environmental due diligence across British Columbia. He has completed more than 3,000 Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Stage 1 Preliminary Site Investigations (PSIs) for a wide range of property types, supporting lending, development, property transactions, and regulatory approvals.

He is known for delivering high-quality, thorough, lender-reliant Phase I ESAs with a pragmatic, case-by-case approach to environmental risk assessment. Robert recognizes that each property presents unique conditions and works closely with clients throughout the process to provide clear, practical conclusions aligned with transaction timelines and regulatory requirements.

Farshid Bateni, Ph.D., P.Eng.

Principal, Geotechnical and Hydrogeological Engineer

Farshid Bateni, Ph.D., P.Eng., is a Principal Geotechnical and Hydrogeological Engineer at CSR Consultants Ltd., with extensive experience in civil engineering, including extensive work in geotechnical analysis, foundation design, and hydrogeological assessment across British Columbia.

He specializes in complex earth retention systems, ground improvement, and foundation solutions for a wide range of developments, from high-rise residential projects to infrastructure and industrial sites. Farshid also brings strong expertise in stormwater management, flood assessment, and slope stability, supporting practical and resilient design solutions in challenging ground conditions.

His experience includes leadership roles on major developments throughout Metro Vancouver, where he has contributed to the design and optimization of shoring systems, dike protection, and geotechnical strategies for both temporary and permanent structures.

Mamoud Bashi, MBA, QP, FEC, P.Eng.

Principal and Environmental Engineer

Mamoud Bashi, MBA, QP, FEC, P.Eng., is a Principal and Environmental Engineer at CSR Consultants Ltd., with over 30 years of experience in environmental consulting and engineering across British Columbia. He is a Fellow of Engineers Canada (FEC), recognizing his significant contributions to the engineering profession and his leadership within the industry.

He has led a wide range of projects involving environmental site assessments, contaminated sites, permitting, and remediation, supporting developments in the commercial, industrial, mining, and energy sectors. Mamoud is known for combining strong technical expertise with practical project management, delivering efficient, client-focused solutions from initial assessment through to regulatory closure.

In addition to his technical work, Mamoud has extensive experience in business development, team leadership, and client relations, having held senior roles with several leading consulting firms. He brings a strategic, results-driven approach to projects, ensuring quality, consistency, and successful outcomes for clients.
